Actually the Heavens are a group of smaller pocket realms created to be individual homes for the gods and the afterlife for the souls of mortals who prove themselves worthy through life. Few living mortals have seen the Heavens and fewer still actually remember what they are like.

Once an idyllic paradise until Outworld overcame it through Mortal Kombat. For centuries it suffered under the cruel grip of Outworld until with the help of Earthrealm it broke free of its shackles. Today it is constantly trying to rebuild and fend off attacks from Outworld.

Outworld is a realm of constant strife. The Emperor Shao Kahn claims this realm as his own. Its native resources nearly gone, it survives by enslaving other realms. One acquisition, Edenia, has done what many once considered impossible and broke free of this parasite of a realm. It is from Outworld, Earthrealm’s most constant threats come from.

A confusing realm where the only law is that there is no law. Reason goes right out the window, when one visits this place and that is how the locals like it. Normally not considered a danger to other realms due the fact that there is no way that it could organize itself to be a threat.
